Eco Explorers
Book NowHabitat loss is one of the leading issues facing our planet, so what can we do to help preserve these delicate ecosystems? Bring your class to Ulster Folk Museum to explore a variety of different habitats – from a country garden to a wild stream, from farmland to woodland. They will discover the species of plants and animals that thrive in these places, and learn about the issues facing them such as pollution, invasive species and climate change. They will observe, collect information and then come up with their own plan for how National Museums NI can ensure the protection of its precious natural resources and encourage biodiversity.
