Self Guided Visit
Book NowExplore the Ulster Folk Museum at your own pace, by leading your class around our authentic period buildings on an investigation of what life was like in Ulster over 100 years ago.
You will be met on arrival and given a welcome and orientation that will help your pupils understand more about the museum before they head out to explore what’s on offer. You’ll meet costumed visitor guides in many of the buildings who will welcome your groups and share the history of the buildings with them. With the help of a Handy Highlights resource book for teachers, you can plan your route to connect to themes most relevant to your area of study. As part of your welcome, our Education Team can advise on what traditional crafts may be on display during your visit and where to locate them.
