Dr. Eimear Rooney from the Northern Ireland Raptor Study Group (NIRSG) will introduce the raptor species found in Northern Ireland. You’ll learn how to identify them using key features and discover helpful resources. The introduction will take place in the Education Room at Tollymore National Outdoor Centre, with coffee/tea provided. Afterward, we’ll explore the nearby Tollymore Forest Park, where we’ll walk the grounds to identify raptors or signs of their presence.
Please note, this event does not take place at the Ulster Folk Museum but at the Education Room at Tollymore National Outdoor Centre.
