Kids on the Farm
Event has endedBring any little ones in your life along to the Folk Museum to experience what it was like to live in a rural farmhouse over 100 years ago.
They will get to experience first-hand some of the daily chores children living in rural communities would have carried out in the home. It’s not all housework though, as there are plenty of jobs to be done in the farmyard too, so make sure you pack their wellies and prepare to get your hands dirty! We’ll reflect on the connection between farm life and the changing seasons and explore themes relating to food and farming.
This event will last one hour and your ticket includes admission to the museum for the whole day, so please come early or stay later to explore all the Ulster Folk Museum has to offer!
You should know:
- Children must be supervised by an adult for the duration of the event.
- We will meet at Corradreenan Farm (no. 45 on the map) which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the ticket kiosk, so please arrive in good time.
