Highlights Tour
Book NowA dedicated guide will lead you and your class on a tour of key buildings in the town of Ballycultra at the Ulster Folk Museum, with carefully selected stops that offer children a chance to understand more about life in a small market town in the early 1900s. The highlighted buildings will reflect how people lived and worked, and how their finances significantly impacted their lifestyle. Students will be able to compare how families of different means lived, and will discover how buildings, lifestyles and living conditions have changed, and what impact this has had on communities over time. They will be encouraged to question why these changes have occurred, and to imagine what changes might happen in the future. You are welcome to explore the site at your leisure after the tour.
