Cultra Manor Tour

Explore Cultra Manor with a guided tour on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th September, led by one of our experienced visitor guides as part of European Heritage Open Days! 

Cultra Manor was built in 1902 and belonged to the Kennedy family, serving as home for Sir Robert and Lady Kennedy and their four daughters. Learn about the architecture of this grand house, those who lived in it, the many uses of Cultra Manor and how we continue to protect the integrity of the buildings fabrics. 

Tours will take place at 10:30, 12:00 & 14:00 across Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th September. Please note all tours are fully booked. 

What to know 

• This is a free event is for 16+, and will last 45minutes to 1hour. 
• Cultra Manor is located on the grounds of the Folk Museum. 
• Entrance to the Ulster Folk Museum is not included in your ticket. 
• The site is fully accessible.
• Booking is essential. Walk ups will not be permitted. 

European Heritage Open Days is an annual event celebrating local architecture, history and culture, which takes place across Europe on the second weekend in September. In Northern Ireland European Heritage Open Days (EHOD) is run by the Department for Communities with the support of the Council of Europe and the European Commission.
