Autumn at the Ulster Folk Museum is a time of apple growing!

Come along to this Apple Harvest Lunch on 7th September in collaboration with Lightfoot Bangor. Pick your own apples from the orchard before visiting one of our heritage cottages. This is where you and the group will prepare a tasty communal two-course lunch under the friendly instruction of Nina Cristinacce.

In the past, many small country cottages would have had apple trees - particularly in the rich soils of county Armagh! The fruit would be harvested and preserved to store over the long winter or enjoyed as part of the abundance of harvest time.

This experience includes a two-course lunch and general access to the Ulster Folk Museum, please take your time to enjoy the museum before and after this event.
